Even a pandemic will not stop this 17-year-old singer from Stratford from being heard.
For the last 3 months, her beautiful voice has been drifting across the Avon River from her family dock on Sunday evenings to crowds of people anxious to finally enjoy some live entertainment! It's the perfect scene, small stage, endless lakeshore to walk, sit, and safely enjoy this "voice of an angel" as she keeps getting referred to.
Hannah's love of performing began at Avon School in their annual operettas under the guidance of teacher Mark McIntosh. Over the next few years, she performed with many theatres including our own Stratford Festival but chose to shift directions from theatre to vocal concentrating on pop and country music.
Hannah just released her first single "If Only," a song written about her Grandfather with Alzheimer's and it is available on her website and on all streaming platforms. She is currently recording a Christmas Album to be released this Fall, produced by her good friend Dayna manning and arranged by the talented Ben Bolt - Martin.
Thanks to Hannah for sharing her voice and making 2020 a little brighter for our community.
She will be singing on the dock for 2 more weeks...Aug 23rd and 30th. Sundays at 7pm.
