ROY LEWIS RAMBLINGS
My first work as an actor was in England at the Clairville Primary School. I was 5 years old and I played Father Christmas and Balthazar the Third King in the Christmas Pageant. My first professional work was in A Mid Summer Night Dream for Brian Richmond when he ran Magnus Theatre in Thunder Bay; I played Lysander. I found the autobiography of Nat Love during my years in Northern Ontario. Lucy Peacock introduced me to Cowboy Haiku and I began writing it. This piece is a natural development of these confluences and inspirations.
