Marthe Jocelyn lives in Stratford, in a house that has been in the family for 110 years.
She has written 45 books for young readers, from board books to teen novels.

Next Tuesday is the book birthday for Peril at Owl Park, Marthe's second murder mystery,
featuring an imagined 12-year-old Agatha Christie and her new best friend, Hector Perot, from Belgium. Together they find a dead body in the library on Christmas morning (in a snowbound country house) and set out to find out who - among guests, servants, and family members - might be the killer!

Today is the 130th anniversary of Agatha Christie's birth, and next month we celebrate the 100th year since Hercule Poirot appeared in Christie's first novel, A Mysterious Affair at Styles.

Signed copies of Marthe's new book can be purchased from Fanfare Books in Stratford.
